I am a Philadelphia based artist working in a variety of mediums. My more popular Octopus Chandeliers are all handmade by me in my house/studio. I create the chandeliers by framing out a piece by hand bending steel tubing, then sculpting over them with epoxy clay. The finish is a mixture of epoxy resins, paints, and powders giving them a vast variety of textures but mostly a glass or ceramic look. The chandeliers are strong and lightweight and easily repaired with epoxy if damaged.
